Beautify your property with trees, shrubs, flowers, accessories, and landscaping services from our beautiful garden center in Huntersville, North Carolina, just north of Charlotte. Established in 1995, Dearness Gardens occupies 3 acres on a rustic 1920s farmstead in the heart of downtown Huntersville.  There’s a little something special for everyone who visits us, so plan to spend some time exploring the lush display gardens, stone paths, and soothing water features.  We want your visit to be relaxing,  pleasurable, and memorable–the ultimate shopping experience!  The business was originally opened with the intention of creating a wonderful destination garden center with character and quaint charm… we think we have succeeded admirably, but we will let you be the judge!

Summer Hours:  Monday-Friday 9-5    Saturday 9-5    Sunday 12-5

Closed New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, & Christmas Day.  Bad weather conditions can also affect hours–please call.

Hudson Valley Seed Library  We are carrying a new line of beautifully packaged seeds from the Hudson Valley Seed Library, your source for heirloom and open-pollinated garden seeds and beautiful garden-themed contemporary art.  They offer heirloom and open-pollinated seeds for vegetable, flower, and herb varieties. Many of these seeds are produced on their own small farm; the rest are sourced from other local farmers, farmers in other regions, and from trustworthy wholesale seed houses that are not owned by or affiliated with multi-national biotech companies.
