Miniature Gardening Class!

Join us for the latest hot gardening trend!  Create your very own miniature garden so you will have a place for the woodland fairies to dance...

In the class, you will learn all the basics of mini-gardening...everything from choosing a container; selecting your plants; creating "hardscapes" such as flagstone patios, walkways, steps, and stone walls; as well as choosing and placing your furniture and accessories.  If you loved your dollhouse when you were young, you are going to LOVE this class!   To all attendees, we will offer a special-priced Basic Starter Kit (includes the hands-on Miniature Gardening Class, terra cotta container, soil, sand, flagstone, decorative rocks, moss, mini bird feeder or birdhouse, and one mini animal of your choice) for $25.00. This kit does NOT include plants or furniture. However, we will extend a 10% discount off all mini-gardening supplies for the day of the class so you can plant and furnish your new miniature garden in style!

New Bonsai Class!

If you ever have been intrigued by the ancient art of bonsai, this class is for you!  You will create your very own beginners-level outdoor bonsai to take home and enjoy for years to come!  

In the class you will learn the following: the basic premise and history of bonsai, how to trim the roots and prune the branches and foliage, how to train the branches with copper wire to obtain the desired shape, and how to plant your bonsai and maintain it in the future.  We are offering a Bonsai Kit which includes the introductory class, your choice of suitable plant, copper wire, soil & Bio-Tone Starter Plus fertilizer, decorative gravel and stones, and a professional bonsai pot for $35.00.  This is a great deal!  

We encourage you to bring gardening gloves and your favorite pair of small clippers.  If you do not have clippers, we will provide them for loan or for sale.  You will be amazed at the lovely bonsai you can create with your very own two hands!
