Established in 1995, Dearness Gardens occupies 3 acres on a rustic 1920’s farmstead in the heart of downtown Huntersville, just north of Charlotte, North Carolina.
We are well-known for our impressive selection of Japanese Maples & unusual conifers; tried-and-true garden favorites as well as new and trendy plant selections; and we are a destination for highly sought-after Southeastern native trees, shrubs, and perennials.
Our business was originally opened with the intention of creating an independent, family-owned destination garden center with character and quaint charm (that certain corporate garden centers lack) and a staff of enthusiastic and knowledgeable plant geeks. We believe we have succeeded admirably, but we will let you be the judge!
